Join Eyewitness Palestine for our Live from Lyd webinar with Tamer Nafar, featuring a special virtual delegation that will take us around Lyd on a custom tour of the city. Lyd, like many Palestinian cities, is an ancient city that's been home to multiple civilizations over its 5,000-year history. It was the site of one of the most grueling massacres of the Nakba and remains haunted by the injustices brought on to it. Today, the community of Lyd--one of the few cities with an integrated Palestinian and Israeli Jewish population--is marred by addiction and gun violence. We'll hear from Lyd residents about the resilience and struggles they face in the community.

WHO ARE PALESTINIAN POLITICAL PRISONERS? Webinar

Eyewitness Palestine hosts a timely and important webinar to learn about who Palestinian political prisoners are, and the unjust Israeli system that detains them. Since October 7th, hundreds of Palestinians in the West Bank have been arrested, bringing the total number of Palestinians detained by the Occupation up to a remarkable 7,000, including children. Many of these Palestinians are held without trial or charge under a practice of Israeli military law called administrative detention. Arrests have also increased in Gaza and throughout '48. During this webinar, you will hear from Palestinian attorney for Addameer, Tala Nasir, Arab Barghouti, son of long-time political prisoner Marwan Barghouti, Palestinian activists, and family members of Palestinians who remain unjustly detained.

AMERICANS AGAINST GENOCIDE Webinar

A genocide is taking place in Gaza as American-funded Israeli weapons rain down on schools, residential buildings, and, most recently, the strike on Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, which is funded primarily by the European Union and Episcopal Church, killing over 500, who were sick, injured, or medical staff. In this webinar, we hear from different Americans on why everyone should be calling for a stop to the genocide of Palestinians happening before our eyes. All funds raised will support the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF). Founded in 1991 by concerned humanitarians in the USA, PCRF provides free medical care to thousands of injured and ill children yearly who lack local access to care within the local health care system. Over the years, PCRF has sent over 2,000 affected children abroad for free medical care, sent thousands of international doctors and nurses to provide tens of thousands of children free medical care in local hospitals, and provided tens of thousands of children humanitarian aid and support they otherwise would not get.
