UPDATE: We are pleased to report that Attorney General Daniel Cameron has dropped all charges against the 87 individuals who staged a peaceful sit-in protest outside his home last Tuesday to demand the arrest of the officers who killed Breonna Taylor. The president of the Minneapolis NAACP, Houston Texans wide receiver Kenny Stills and Women’s March co-founder Linda Sarsour were among those arrested. Cameron claimed the dismissal worked “in the interest of justice and the promotion of the free exchange of ideas.” However, while we celebrate this victory, we must continue to do all within our abilities to demand justice for Breonna Taylor and her family and ensure her killers are held accountable for their actions!
