VIDEO: Israel's Assault on Palestinian Bedouin Communities in the Naqab/Negev

Our delegation recently visited the High Court of Israel where we were briefed on the context of Israel's assault on Palestinian Bedouin communities in the Naqab/Negev.

Organizers from Adalah - The Legal Center For Arab Minority Rights In Israel briefed us outside the court prior to a hearing seeking an injunction on Israel's planned demolition of Al-Fura’a village.

Among the explosive facts shared are that Israel has demolished 2,000 homes of Palestinian Bedouins (who are citizens of Israel) in the past year. A new Israeli plan now calls for the displacement of 36,000 more Palestinian Bedouin citizens of Israel to make way for industrial projects and further development slated for Jewish Israelis.
