1.
Tourists pose
with heavy armed
IDF soldiers
In the old city
Jerusalem  

2.
A Jewish boy
Surrounded
by fathers & uncles
Is shown the many tools of the IDF soldier’s vest
In laughter and celebrative joy
The boy is given bullets to hold
Embrace
This “rightness”
The injection of privileged Israeli settler status even more complete
In the worshipping halls of the Jewish side of
Al-Ibrahimi Mosque

Baby faced troops
Military fatigues
Locked n loaded
Fancy Large gauge machinery
Designed to intimidate and
eliminate
Palestinian
Life

They
sit
Gun on lap
profiling others with suspicion sucking on otter pops
in the Hebron
mid day heat
