What emerges from your mind's eye?

Close your eyes and imagine Bethlehem. What emerges from your mind's eye? Perhaps the birth of Jesus or his family having to flee because they feared for his life. You probably didn't expect a wall running through Bethlehem, separating Palestinians from Palestinians, a wall as ugly as the US-Mexico border. A wall like the Berlin Wall as a space for political expression. A wall that I hope will come tumbling down as did the Berlin Wall in 1989.
