Eyewitness Palestine delegate Nashwah A., has written a new guide on responsible international travel, published in Medium magazine.

Nashwah writes: “travel is inherently a politicized act. Many have written about how the tourism industry depends on Orientalism and the white gaze to survive, and deepens socio-economic divides in decolonizing countries.

I argue that, if done in a conscious manner — traveling can improve our perceptions of the world and make us more open-minded, responsible global citizens.”
