In this moment of the ongoing COVID-19 crises and popular uprisings across the US and the world, demanding Black Lives Matter and a fundamental challenge to the status quo, Eyewitness Palestine is also welcoming in our new Education and Advocacy Coordinator, Omar Z.
Omar brings profound experience and excitement to this role on the heels of coordinating multiple successful grassroots campaigns, and they recently completed a PhD in Comparative Literature at the University of California, Los Angeles. They have already begun incorporating their expertise and experience in helping us organize the upcoming virtual summit, Beyond Connecting the Dots, on July 18, just one month away!
