EP DELEGATES IN ACTION: Delegate and Black Youth Project member Ajamu D. speaks on On The Record, a program of WRAL-TV, about the overlaps between Black Lives Matter and the Civil Rights movement: “When we talk about similarities and continuities in the Civil Rights and the Black Lives matter movement, I think it’s important to be grounded and understand that both movements were rooted in the struggle against racism, white supremacy and capitalism that the United States has been committed to since its founding and seeks to further develop.”
