The virtual event will also discuss the work of Al-Haq and the threats faced by human rights defenders and civil society organizations in the context of Palestine. During the virtual delegation, Al-Haq will Exposé two films narrating stories from two Palestinian communities; Al-Hadidiya, in the Jordan Valley and Nabi Samuel, north of Jerusalem.

Recently, Al-Haq was one of six civil society organizations that the Israeli Minister of Defense designated as “terrorist organizations”, placing them at imminent risk of arrest, prosecution, confiscation of financial assets and funding blockage.
