Pipeline protestors descend on Minnesota's Line 3 Construction Site

EP delegate Tara H. helped lead an important action on Monday, May 31st opposing the construction of Line 3 in Mahnomen, Minnesota. Line 3, which would replace an outdated pipeline constructed by Canadian company Enbridge Energy, would wreak havoc on the climate and violate US treaties with the Ojibwe people securing their ability to hunt, fish and gather on the proposed route. Organizers hope to get the Biden administration to suspend the construction permit for Line 3.

From Palestine to Turtle Island, settler-colonialism seeks to destroy Indigenous sites and ethnically cleanse the land to ensure the profit and socio-political dominance of settlers. The fight to #stopline3 is linked to the struggle to stop the looming expulsion of families from Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan and end the Zionist siege on the Gaza strip because the machinery of settler-colonialism and white supremacy are a threat to total liberation of all oppressed peoples the world over.
